Mitragynine itself acts primarily through the μ-opioid receptors, although its mitragynine-pseudoindoxyl oxidation product acts as an even more potent and selective μ-opioid agonist with less attraction to δ or κ receptors. Another alkaloid with a major contribution to the μ-opioid activity of kratom plant is the associated 7-hydroxymitragynine compound, which, while existing at the plant in much smaller quantities than mitragynine, is a much more powerful μ-opioid match participant.
Storage conditions: in a cool and dry place. Timing Mitragynine, can last up to 2 years with proper storage conditions.
